Event marketing agency

More ticket sales. Higher attendee value. Predictable growth.

That's what event marketing should deliver. Northic Media helps events sell tickets earlier, raise attendee value, and build the audience data that makes next year's event easier to sell — strategy, advertising, SEO, websites, and ticket-source tracking handled by one team that knows the sector.

01The problem

Events don't have a demand problem. They have a timing problem.

The events we talk to usually sell something. The problem is when and to whom. Sales spike in the final week, early-bird conversion is weak, and there's no clear line of sight from ad spend to the ticket buyers who actually attended and will come back.

01

Sales spiking last-minute

Everything happens in the final 7–10 days. You can't plan numbers, can't forecast revenue, and you're left hoping the last push works.

02

Weak early-bird conversion

Your early-bird price is up, but the urgency and audience targeting aren't strong enough to convert buyers before the price goes up.

03

Platform-dependent ticket sales

Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, and the rest get a cut of every ticket and own the attendee relationship. You get revenue and a spreadsheet.

04

Landing page that doesn't convert

No clear value proposition, no agenda, no speaker or lineup details above the fold, no urgency, no social proof. Visitors bounce to a competitor event.

05

Wasted spend on the wrong audiences

Meta and Google Ads targeting people who never buy, in cities the event isn't even in, with messaging that doesn't match the event's actual value.

06

No ticket-source attribution

You know how many tickets sold. You don't know which channel produced the group-booked, VIP-tier, or returning attendee.

02The growth system

Everything an event needs to sell more tickets, earlier.

Event marketing is a timing, urgency, and audience-driven category. It has its own rules — and the whole system we build has to respect them.

01

Get found by the right audience

Search, social, and destination SEO that put your event in front of people already looking for what you're putting on.

02

Launch the early-bird push

Campaigns designed around early-bird windows — price, urgency, social proof — that convert buyers before the price goes up.

03

Convert on the landing page

Fast-loading pages, clear value, agenda visibility, lineup, and urgency that turn an ad click into a purchased ticket.

04

Build the audience for next year

Email, retargeting, and community that turn this year's attendees into next year's early-bird buyers.

05

Track it properly

Ticket-source attribution, call tracking, and platform pixel setup so you can see which channels produced which ticket tiers.

06

Grow profitably

Reporting on cost per ticket sold and revenue per attendee by channel, so you can put more into what pays and stop funding what doesn't.

Most agencies sell events one of these six and hope the rest works out. The whole point is that they work together — and that someone is accountable for the tickets sold at the end, not the clicks at the start.

03What we do for events

Six service families. The mix is different for every event.

A single-day conference needs very different work to a recurring festival or a B2B trade show. Here's what each service includes — and which type of event it suits best.

01

Event SEO & Discovery

Where people look when they're already thinking about attending. If you're not showing up for the searches and discovery pages that matter, you're losing the easiest ticket sales in the market.

  • Event schema markup
  • Google Business Profile
  • Event page SEO
  • Review generation
  • Directory listings
  • Content & agenda pages
Best for

Any event that wants to be found in search and featured in event-discovery feeds.

Typical timeline

Visibility movement in 30–60 days. Compounds from there.

What you get

Free, high-intent ticket buyers you don't pay per click for.

02

Google & Meta Ads

Speed to sales. We put your event in front of the right audiences the moment they start searching or scrolling — and we filter out the audiences that never buy.

  • Google Search Ads
  • Meta ad campaigns
  • Instagram Ads
  • TikTok campaigns
  • Retargeting
  • Geo & interest targeting
Best for

Events that need ticket sales inside 30 days or want to own a category in their market.

Typical timeline

First sales in days. Optimised from week two.

What you get

Ticket sales from real buyers — tracked to the tier level.

03

Landing Pages Built to Convert

Most event landing pages list a lineup and stop there. Ours are built around one job: turning a visitor into a ticket purchase inside 60 seconds.

  • Fast-loading mobile design
  • Above-the-fold value
  • Agenda & lineup visibility
  • Social proof
  • Urgency & scarcity cues
  • Ticketing integration
Best for

Events with decent traffic whose pages aren't producing ticket sales.

Typical timeline

4–8 weeks to design, build and launch.

What you get

More ticket sales from the traffic you already have.

04

Ticket Tracking & Attribution

You can't improve what you can't measure. We install tracking that shows which channel produced which ticket tier, and — crucially — which channels produce returning attendees.

  • Ticket-source attribution
  • Call tracking
  • UTM discipline
  • Cost per ticket sold
  • Revenue per attendee
  • Returning-attendee reporting
Best for

Any event spending on more than one channel — or who can't say which one produces group sales.

Typical timeline

Set up in weeks 1–2. Reporting from month one.

What you get

One page a month tying spend to tickets sold.

05

Creative & Content

Events are a visual and energy-driven category. The creative has to make the event feel worth clearing the calendar for. We produce the assets that earn the ticket sale.

  • Ad creative
  • Event recap video
  • Speaker & lineup content
  • Attendee testimonials
  • Countdown content
  • Brand positioning
Best for

Events competing against established conferences and larger industry names.

Typical timeline

Ongoing, refreshed with each campaign.

What you get

Creative that wins the tap over the event next to you.

06

Strategy & Growth Planning

Every event has one bottleneck costing more than any other. Our job is to find it, fix it first, and build the rest of the work around it — pricing, tier strategy, launch timing, and audience development.

  • Market analysis
  • Competitor research
  • Ticket-tier strategy
  • Launch timing planning
  • Audience development
  • Growth planning
Best for

Organisers who want to grow the event, not just fill this year's room.

Typical timeline

Weeks 1–3 of any engagement.

What you get

A one-page plan you can actually act on.

Not sure where to start

Not sure which of these would actually move the needle for your event?

Event organisers, in their own words.

Organisers across different sizes and formats — in their own words, not ours.

★★★★★
"I'd been burned by two agencies before this. The difference here is that nobody sends me a report full of things I don't understand. It's tickets, revenue, and what each channel cost me. That's the whole report."
Marcus WhitfieldWhitfield Conference · Columbus, OH
★★★★★
"We used to sell everything in the last week. They rebuilt our early-bird push and the shape of ticket sales changed within a month. Predictability is worth as much as volume."
Gareth HollisHollis Summit · Denver, CO
★★★★★
"Festival search is the highest-value traffic in our market and we were invisible. Six months later we're the first name most people find. That was worth the fee on its own."
Priya ChandrasekaranChandra Festival · San Jose, CA
★★★★★
"Half our ad budget was going to audiences that never bought. They tightened the targeting and doubled our ticket sales without spending a penny more."
Tom BexleyBexley Expo · Austin, TX
★★★★★
"I was skeptical about ticket tracking — thought it was for bigger events. Turns out I'd been funding a channel that never produced a single returning attendee, for eleven months."
Rosa IbarraIbarra Live · Phoenix, AZ
★★★★★
"The landing page was the problem, not the ads. They told me that up front instead of taking my money for more spend. Two months later we'd doubled the conversion rate and the same ad budget suddenly worked twice as hard."

06How it works

A simpler way to grow an event.

Five stages. The first one is free and it's the one most agencies skip.

01

Understand

We learn your audience, your tier structure, your sales curve, and where the tickets come from today. No assumptions.

02

Build

Landing pages, ticketing integration, tracking, and ad accounts — set up properly the first time.

03

Launch

Campaigns go live, tracking starts recording, and you start seeing where your ticket sales actually come from.

04

Optimise

We cut what's producing rubbish and scale what's producing ticket sales. Judged on tickets and revenue, not clicks.

05

Grow

As the numbers improve, we expand into new cities, new tiers, and new channels — without losing the basics.

This is not a set-and-forget process. Anyone who tells you event marketing runs itself after month one is either not paying attention or not telling you the truth. The work is continuous — the point is that it compounds.

07Questions

What event organisers ask us before they start.

No — we work across multiple industries, but events are one of our core verticals. We understand the sector: launch timing, early-bird windows, ticket-tier strategy, and how the value of a group-booking or returning attendee justifies a much higher cost per lead than a general agency would assume.

Platforms are great for ticketing — but they take a cut of every ticket and they own the attendee data. What we do that they don't is build your own marketing engine: your landing pages, your email list, your retargeting, your tracking. Over time that means lower platform dependence and a direct relationship with your audience.

Paid search and paid social can move ticket sales within days. Event SEO and discovery take longer — most events see meaningful movement around day 30 to 60, and it keeps building. Both work best together: ads bridge the gap while the organic asset compounds.

Yes — and we do it often. A last-minute push works when the targeting is tight, the creative is urgent, and the tracking is in place to know which channel is producing. What we can't do is promise results from a last-minute push if the landing page, price, or audience fit isn't there. We'd tell you that up front.

Both. A B2B conference needs different creative, different ad structure, and different landing pages to a consumer festival or workshop tour. What changes is the campaign architecture and the offer — the underlying system is the same.

Yes — this is one of the biggest opportunities in event marketing right now. Group and VIP tickets come with much better margins and more referral value, but only if the messaging and landing page support the higher price. We build the pages, run the campaigns, and track which enquiries turn into higher-tier purchases.

UTM discipline, ticket-source attribution, and pixel / conversion tracking at the platform level. Every month you get one page tying spend to tickets sold and revenue by tier — not charts that look busy but don't tell you anything.

It depends on your market, your ticket price, and how much work is needed. A single-day workshop and a multi-city festival are not the same job. You'll get one clear monthly figure in writing, for your situation, before you ever get on a call with us.

No. We work month to month. If we're not bringing you work, you walk. That's the deal, and it's the thing that keeps us honest about which events we take on in the first place.

No, and be careful with anyone who does. How many clicks turn into ticket sales comes down to your lineup, your price, your landing page, and the audience fit. That side is largely yours. Ours is bringing the right people to your page, and showing you the numbers every month so you can see the connection yourself.
